Coverage Period

36 months for custom-built systems
12 months for individual components

Parts and labour included for the first 12 months. Labour only for months 13–36 unless otherwise specified.

What's Covered

All original components are warranted to be free from defects. The warranty covers repair or replacement of faulty parts, with the supplier covering delivery of repaired or replaced items back to you.

How to Make a Claim

Report defects in writing within three days of discovery. Contact support@opus101proaudio.com to arrange a return. You cover the cost of sending items to us; we cover the return to you.

What Voids the Warranty

Unauthorised hardware changes (CPU, motherboard, PSU, cooling), BIOS modifications, overclocking attempts, installing non-Windows operating systems, or exposing the system to extreme environmental conditions.

Coverage and Duration

All goods include Return to Base warranty from the invoice date. Standard goods carry a 12-month defect-free warranty. Custom-built systems carry a 36-month defect-free warranty including all original components.

The first 12 months cover parts and labour; subsequent months cover labour only unless otherwise specified.

Exclusions

The warranty excludes:

  • Software and firmware
  • Fair wear and tear
  • Wilful damage, accident, or negligence by the buyer or third parties
  • Use contrary to recommendations or failure to follow instructions
  • Unauthorised alterations or repairs
  • Hardware-software incompatibilities between purchased and non-purchased items

Reporting Defects

Damage or misdescription must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Defects require written notification within three days of discovery; late reporting establishes the defect discovery date as the report date.

Returns and Repairs

Buyers arrange returns with the supplier and bear return costs; the supplier covers sending repaired or replaced items back. If returned goods remain defective and the buyer notifies within 48 hours, the supplier covers all future delivery fees. All deliveries use insured courier services.

Components with manufacturer warranties may require entire system returns for identification and testing. Repairs typically complete within three working days for individual components; full system repairs may require 7–30 days. The supplier is not liable for delays.

The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring data and applications are adequately backed up. The supplier attempts to prevent data loss but cannot guarantee it.

If components are found faulty beyond repair, replacement components of identical or superior specifications will be provided. Replacement costs (except delivery) are covered by the supplier for 12 months; afterwards, the buyer agrees to labour and parts fees beforehand.

What Voids the Warranty

The warranty is voided if the buyer, without prior supplier consultation:

  • Installs, removes, or alters hardware (storage, memory, CPU, motherboard, graphics card, power supply, cooling, add-in cards)
  • Changes BIOS settings or flashes motherboard firmware
  • Attempts overclocking (CPU, video card, memory)
  • Adjusts CPU cooling or system fan settings
  • Installs operating systems other than Microsoft Windows
  • Subjects systems to temperature extremes or harmful environmental conditions

What Does NOT Void the Warranty

The warranty remains intact if the buyer:

  • Opens the case for routine dust cleaning (disconnected from power, using compressed air only)
  • Reinstalls or repairs existing Windows installations
  • Installs or replaces storage, memory, graphics cards, or PCIe cards with written supplier permission

Packaging

Components and systems must be returned in original packaging unless otherwise agreed. Buyers should retain all packaging.
